The European Commission’s humanitarian aid and civil protection department (ECHO) will hold an information day focusing on its upcoming work programme for civil protection.

The aim of the information day will be to familiarise organisations and authorities interested in applying for funding opportunities with the "Civil protection work programme 2016". Useful guidance on the preparation of applications for proposals and tenders to be published in 2016 will also be given.

The information day is intended for representatives of stakeholders in the field of civil protection (national administrations, regional and local authorities, private sector, non-governmental organisations, academies, research institutes).
