The Parliament Magazine and Aviva will be holding a lunch reception designed especially for MEP Assistants on how social media is changing the policy-making landscape in Brussels. #SMCOMMS2016

This event builds on the successes of last year’s MEP Assistant Briefing, and will provide MEP Assistants with an opportunity to discuss and assess how social media is changing the policy-making landscape in Brussels, with hints and tips on how best to communicate policy effectively via social media.

This event will be kindly hosted by Inés Ayala Sender MEP.

Speakers will include:

•              Inés Ayala Sender MEP

•              Marte Borhaug, Senior Public Policy Manager at Aviva   

•              Adam Mouchtar, managing director of EU40 and political adviser to Michael Theurer MEP

•              Brett Kobie, digital strategist at Fleishman Hillard

•              Alexandra Ekkelenkamp, Press Officer - Social Media at the Council General Secretariat 

The roundtable will also be covered by The Parliament Magazine in a special feature to be published and distributed after the event.
