EU Events is happy to share with you the enormous success of the March for Europe!
Over 10,000 Europeans participated to the March for Europe and a few thousands more joined at the final event from another march, titled “Our Europe”, at the Coliseum. Participants included groups from 25 cities outside Italy and lots of personalities, both Members of the European Parliament and well known people and politicians (former Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti, Italian Justice Minister Andrea Orlando, Italian journalist Beppe Severgnini, President of the Austrian liberal party Neos Matthias Strolz, Spanish philosopher Daniel Innerarity, President of European Movement France Yves Bertoncini, the Presidents of the European Socialist Party and the European Green Party, as well as the European Parliament's group leaders of the Liberals and Democrats, Socialists & Democrats, Greens and the EPP among many others).
The March looked young, international, colourful, playful, peaceful, positive and forward looking: we were the best image of the Europe we want!
