How can standardization foster the impact of Horizon Europe projects?

Basic terminology, measurement and test methods, reference architecture models, or interfaces – standards provide valuable support in research projects along the whole process of technology development. They reduce costs, increase investment security, and provide the partners within the project with an information lead on future market requirements. The results of standardization activities are made publicly available, thereby promoting their dissemination and broad application. Thus, standardization functions as a catalyst for innovation by enhancing the transfer of research results into marketable products and ensuring market access.

DIN and UNE, the German and Spanish national standardization bodies, cordially invite you to discuss the benefits standardization can provide to ensure the dissemination of research results in the new research framework program Horizon Europe and how norms and standards may function as evaluation criteria to measure the level of successful technology transfer.
