Info Day on the Horizon 2020 Work programme 2016-2017 ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’

European Commission services responsible for Horizon 2020 energy research - Directorates-General Research & Innovation (RTD) and Energy (ENER), as well as the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and the Innovation & Networks Executive Agency (INEA) – will organise the info day during which the new Work Programme for 2016-2017 in the area of H2020 energy research will be presented. The event targets potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under the H2020 challenge ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’. Presentations will cover the Work Programme for 2016-2017 and the application procedure, as well as detailed information on the calls. Participants will have numerous networking opportunities throughout the day. More information and the agenda will follow. Compulsory registration for the event will open in June.

The event targets potential applicants to the calls for project proposals under the H2020 challenge ‘Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy’. 

The new Work Programme for 2016-2017 in the area of H2020 energy research will be presented on 14 September, whereas in-depth sessions on various calls of the Work Programme will be held on 15 September. A brokerage event in the field of Energy Technologies will follow the info day on 16 September.

Monday, 14 September 2015

  • 09:00-18:00: Presentation of the Work Programme for 2016-2017 in the area of H2020 energy research
  • 18:00-20:00: Networking cocktail

Tuesday, 15 September 2015

  • 09:00-16:00: Parallel sessions on the calls: smart grids; storage; renewable energy sources: non-bio; renewable energy sources: bio; energy efficiency; flexible and efficient fossil fuel power plants; smart cities and communities; carbon capture & storage; unconventional hydrocarbons; EURATOM
