I would like invite you to a guided tour through the Brussel’s European quarter to discover some pieces of the Berlin Wall and to reflect the historical changes of 1989 on the basis of some Brussels memorial sites. I also want to tell you stories of my own family history in times of German and European upheaval. What did wall construction, division and turning point mean for the people in (West) Berlin?
