The Conference of Peripheral and Maritime Regions (CPMR), together with the Welsh Government and Cornwall Council are hosting an event to launch the CPMR’s latest analysis of the implications of Brexit to regional development funding in the UK.
In a recent interview, the UK Prime Minister reaffirmed that EU regional funds will be replaced “like for like.” The CPMR report provides projections based on the latest data of the amount of EU cohesion funding that would have received were it to have remained in the EU post-2020 and how those funds would have been earmarked between the UK’s Less Developed Regions, Transition Regions, and Most Developed Regions.
