In collaboration with the Université Libre de Bruxelles, the Department of Political Science and the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, we are delighted to announce our event that will be held in the presence of Count Etienne Davignon, Belgian businessman and Minister of State.
Doctor in law, Mr. Davignon (87 yrs) is a former diplomat seconded to the Congo (1960-1963), DG of Policy at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1969-1976), Member (1977-1981) then VP (1981-1985) of the Commission of the European Communities. former President of the Royal Institute of International Relations (renamed since Egmont Institute) and appointed Minister of State since 2004 by King Albert II, he is also an influential person in the business world (Honorary President of the Bilderberg Group, Chairman of CSR Europe, Board of Directors of Brussels Airlines, ENGIE Corporate Foundation, Palais des Beaux-Arts - BOZAR).
