On the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of EU-China Diplomatic Relations, the China Mission to the European Union has launched the “China Unlimited” Creative Contest (http://www.chinaunlimited.eu) to promote exchanges between EU countries and China.
The Contest is open to all EU citizens, who are encouraged to submit their participations (photographs, writings, fine arts, video, etc.) related to their impressions on China or on the EU-China relationship. The deadline of the Contest is set as 31st August 2015.
The final winners in each category will be rewarded with a 10-day discovery trip to China. The present prize is transferable if the participant proves that he/she already lives in China and wish to offer that prize to his/her relative or friend.
The Contest gathers a Grand Jury and a Professional Jury to decide most representative artworks among participations. For the moment, the Grand Jury is composed of following Chinese and European figures:
- H.E. Ambassador YANG Yanyi, Head of the China Mission to the EU;
- Mr. Tibor NAVRACSICS, European Commissioner for Education and Culture;
- Mr. Didier REYNDERS, Deputy Prime Minister and Belgian Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs
- Ms. Eva PAUNOVA Member of the EU parliament (who acts also as EU Ambassador for the Contest);
- Mr. Franco DRAGONE, Artistic Director and Show Creator.
