Date: Thursday, 06 February 2020 09:30 - 13:30

Venue: We Work, Rue Belliard 53 1000 Brussels Belgium

In a frame of the project we are organising Free Entrepreneurship Workshop Researchers to Empower Them to Create Innoven-Driven Enterprises. The training will take place in Brussels on the 6th of February (from 9.30am to 1.30pm).

This researcher-focused workshop, as part of our mission to reinforce and structure a European network for promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in R&D.

With this training, delivered by members of the STARTED project, we want to empower researchers and equip them with a set of entrepreneurial skills, which will help them to:

- bring their innovations to the market,

- generate revenue,

- create important new areas for sustainable employment.

The participants will be given access to a unique set of tools specifically aimed at supporting researchers in validating their projects:

- An E-learning platform for validating commercial potential of a research project,

- Resources on complementary resources on funding, intellectual property and insight from an innovation-driven entrepreneur’s perspective,

- A database of resources for commercialisation validation and exploring funding and collaboration opportunities among other resources.

The workshop is not only a great opportunity to gain new, practical entrepreneurship skills but also to network with other innovators.

MORE ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The STARTED Project is funded by the Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance initiative under the key action ‘Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices’. This project aims to reduce the cultural gap between research and business, accelerate innovative R&D projects towards commercialisation and help to ensure research projects address challenging issues from both market and end-user perspectives.

The STARTED project aims to reinforce and structure a European network for promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in the R&D area while improving the flow of knowledge and win-win cooperations between HEIs and businesses.
